Victor David Brenner created the Lincoln Cent, which was first coined in 1909 and is still in use today. The San Francisco Mint struck this particular specimen in 1947, and it has been rated Mint State 66 Red. Much fewer than 1% of all 1947-S Lincoln Cents that were minted have been graded in MS66RD condition. This 1947-S Lincoln Cent is an exceptional Condition Rare due to its extremely low MS66RD population.
