Victor David Brenner created the Lincoln Cent, which was first coined in 1909 and is still in use today. From 1959 to 2008, the Frank Gasparro-designed Memorial reverse was featured on the Lincoln Cent. The San Francisco Mint produced this unique Memorial Reverse Lincoln Cent in 1984, and it is rated Proof 69 Deep Cameo. Much fewer than 1% of the total number of 1984-S Lincoln Cents minted have been graded in PR69 DCAM condition, with only 276 instances graded higher. This 1984-S Lincoln Cent is a Condition Rare due to its extremely low PR69 DCAM population.
