President Ronald Reagan signed the Liberty Coin Act into law in 1985, launching the American Silver Eagle series. Since then, the popularity of the American Silver Eagle has become a worldwide phenomenon. This Burnished American Silver Eagle was minted at the West Point Mint in 2020 and has been graded a perfect Mint State 70 by NGC. The planchets of burnished ASEs have been polished before striking, giving them a distinct appearance not found on standard American Silver Eagles.
